BEARD TRANSPLANT

Beard transplantation is the transfer of hair follicles taken from the donor area to the beard area. It can be applied to people who have no hair in the beard area or people with sparse beards. The most commonly used method in beard transplantation is the Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) method. The reason why this method is frequently preferred is that it is painless and comfortable. Generallyhair follicles taken from the nape are transplanted to the beard area. Beard transplantation is suitable from the age of 25. After beard transplantation, crusting may occur in the transplanted area. These crusts will fall off in about 10 days. A 10-day leave period is sufficient for the person who has undergone a beard transplant operation. Some of the beards may fall out in the first month. It takes approximately 2.5 months for the shed beards to grow. Absolute results are obtained within 1 year. After the operation, the patient regains a natural beard appearance.
